why would you want to build a shelter inside a shelter, anyways

cabins in mines jus don make sense!!

I'm saying that there is alot to gain in having some sort of living structure allowed to be built underground, while they do not factor in player opinion as much as their own or game balance, If they aren't too opinionated either way then player opinion can make a huge difference.

Currently cabins anywhere don't make much sense other than cheese making.

I request the ability to build Mine carts and tracts of railing underground.
As well a the ability to whistle, and to grow beards.
And striking gems underground would be cool too.

You forgot minimizing the nuisance of repairing objects.

Also, in response to another poster - I mentioned candelabras because the suggestion that _some_ containers would be possible in minds implied that other carryables would not be possible there. As far as I'm concerned, a mine space that allows hearths and all carryables would be quite comfortable - I don't mind having smelters etc. outdoors, nearer the trees, since they don't decay at all fast.
