Get lucky and spot some aurochs/bears/foxes/anything in the area and attack them, they will break sign posts to get to you, get knocked down, turn criminal acts on and walk away.

Well, I'll try the fox (or boar) trick. Planned do it today, but server is off. Still, this world is harsh to me. My second char got almost killed by pet boar of some random person. I saw a hearthling with said boar and thought about asking to help destroy those signs with boar. But when I said 'hi' hearthling began to chase me with boar. And boar aggroed and KOed me. But boar was a good boy and don't killed be despite his master insisted few times by putting boar's nose into my body.
