So there I was, skipping through the forest when I came across this:
There was nothing in the house. Just a claim, a cave, and a an illuminated hearthfire in front of it. After smashing the hearthfire, I came across this:

Probably hidden next to the western wall of the house.

The stupid thing to me is not palisading the whole thing as soon as the hermit found ore in that cave.

The same thing happened to me, except I got griefed. They stole all my metal, but now I have a palisade, though somehow they managed to write "greetings" in russian out the front, maybe they logged off inside my palisade?
