Started new in single player. Any ideas why no merchant is moving in? (Yes, I do have 50 silver)

Merchant sometimes just doesnt appear. Try to change some of that rooms, also try removing those wood bridges thing.

My merchant was killed by Cthulu (lol at summoning it on the roof of my house) and took a while before he reappeared.

Damn, cannot try it right now, but you might be right. The wood bridge probably counts as roof or something, thus the room is not 6 tiles high.

I think you need to get door that lead outside in room with table.

Day 1. Single player. Me reaching Underworld; ofc I got killed by those imba Imps in a sec (specially with that equip)

Day 1. Single player. Love the Ball 'O Hurt and Purple Phaseblade . My equip is a bit of everything but not a full set yet. Dunno if I should try finishing Meteor for +armor +mana and light source, or scale for uber def.

change the stone you used to build your house into grey bricks. I did that and the merchant showed up. also the nurse and demolitionist. when the demoman shows up buy lots of grenades and dynamite from him. grenades are great for beating the FUCK out of boss monsters.

I have basically gone through the whole (or at least alot of the) content once already with the leaked version so I know what is valuable etc. Still thanks for the advice, saltmummy. The problem indeed just were the wooden platforms that apparently count as roofs thus making the room too small.

Solved that, got the NPCs and am Underworld farming now and same as daemmonium getting killed by fucking imps all the time.

Are obsidian skulls stackable?
