forum activity slowly goes up as the worlds grow older, things grow more established, and people have more reasons to shout at each other.
if i recall correctly from w3.

It might get implemented in Salem :P

But seriously, just because they're working on Salem doesn't mean that H&H won't eventually benefit from it. For example, I'm sure that parts of the map generator and animal AI will be reusable.

The world was much much more active when you could get lp for killing someone. Even when the world was at the point where your only raising high Q, am I the only one noticing this?, I feel the world is pussyfied.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Killing people was fun and worth it, now it's a chore.

I completely agree, I loved the old system, it drew me to this game. Murdering should profit you, what im guessing though is jorb and loftar as casuals were murdered one too many times so they changed the system for their benifit, I guess its their game anyways so they can change important game mechanics into world of warcraft pussy mechanics on a whim anyhow.

I thought saying 'world of warcraft' on this board was the same as swearing
