I left H&H sometime around mid-to late W3. I loved the game but personally I turn into a grindy player very easily - which is no fun. This I thought was a shame because H&H comes close to my ideal game in its design intention, regardless of how it actually played out because of my psychological tendency towards mindless grinding...
I returned because I haven't found another game I like so I just thought I would give it a try again. I played for a couple of days wondering why I was not earning very many LP.....
Then I turned to the Wiki and forum (which I usually avoid) and to my surprise - the 'new' LP system. So far it seems to be just the thing. I am already up to a small claim with a Pali getting built (but long server crash has me worried...)
I like this change. I think the world could do with being bigger. It is almost urbanised already even though it seems the world is fairly new. I love wilderness, but hey - no biggie.
This gives me confidence that the devs are still keeping the good intentions and plans for H&H.
I am glad I came back.
