I don't know what stat affects farming, but if you have that stat at an insanely high level then even if your farming is at 1, the best seed you can get will be stat+skill quality. That won't mean that all your seeds will be that level, it just determines up to what quality your stuff can get to.

What's your reference for this formula?

30 farming, 1 survival. would be nice to have an answer on this tree business. ON what is, or what plans to be.

From the resources listed there, we got 1 Q9 Mulberry tree, 1 Q9 Apple tree, and 1 Q11 evergreen. More on the way to maturity.
Considering the amount of resources that went into these, why on earth would they be so low?
I want super trees D:<

It seems as they mature the quality rating goes up also, my apple trees just went from q11 and q13, to q15 and 17.

I think it should remain so that farming affects only planting, not harvest. This way newbies can trade labour for whatever they need.

Anyway, trees definitely gain quality as they mature.

Noticed that too. First lvl 9 branches than 10 now 12 ( not fully grown).

Bleh, I can't seem to find the post itself (search function sucks =| ), but it holds true as far as I've seen.

In fact, the max quality of seeds you can improve to is Farming skill + 50

(Insert random arrangement of stats/skills/numbers/mathematical signs here) is how it really works.
