Wurm online, Its 3d, Amazing graphics(or shit graphics if your comp cant handle it )

IT has more players then haven, No perma death, you jsut lose XP in like 5 skills, and everything you have with you

More of a learning curve then HnH , Every thing has a skill..
Hammer skill, Over all smithing skill, Black smithing skill, Body strength , Mind control

thats an example of all the skills you level up while "Improving a hammer"('s quality)

Also you can terraform like a mother fucker, you can make canals, You can make an island in the ocean, you can make an ocean in an island,
You can build a mountian, or make a mountian into an ocean (keep in mind this could take months+)

Pvp server, and non pvp server

and an "Epic server" which is comming out Soon were everyone is starting over and its Pvp with a theme

I read it takes a long time to terraform in this game.

in relation to this game: yes
in relation to everything else in wurm: no

1 thing to understand about wurm is it takes hella long to do just about anything

to get good there is no skill involved only time and grinding and the grinding consists of [>clicking a button> watching a timer bar for about 30 seconds>] on infinite loop

on the pvp server, to get to a point where you can participate in any pvp and be of any use, it woul take about 2 years of at least 5 hours a day grinding so you can see why the game is a bit flawed and why game accounts generally got for around 300 euro

most people are attracted by the promise of terraforming and constructing houses and all that lot but then after a few hours of grinding they come to their senses and think "wtf am I doing? o.0 .. has my life really gotten this low?!" 1 of the 2 creators of wurm (Notch) was smart enough to realize the main flaw and then went on to create minecraft which is all the desirable bits of wurm without the extremely slow pace and dullness

In Wurm your skills are capped at 20 if you don't buy a subscription and you can only play on the Freedom Isles server, which is crowded as Hell. Literally.

i always thought runescape was ok if you don't mind a grind fest. it has a good in game economy and there is a large player base. The only thing 'i don't like is free players are kind of limited with what they can do.

that's the pertinent info. don't bother, it takes quite awhile to do anything and the game is a bitch to learn. there is also, as mentioned, the monthly fees of about 5 or 6 bucks to play any of the good stuff, which isn't all that interesting. also in terms of graphics, id rather play H&H if my interest were graphics alone. of coarse people who play games just for the graphics don't like video games because if you wanted graphics, why not just go outside?

Yup. Yup. If I'm going to shell out money for a 'crafting' game, I'd recommend A Tale in the Desert. This at least lets you do fun stuff and organize better (and if you support the use of Bitcoins, you can play for cheap or free).

yeah, but you can't slay goblins and shoot people in the head in real life (at least not without consequences).
