"It seems like it was only yesterday when I began my journey. Well, pretty close to it. I have made a lot of progress these past few days. I have met many friendly faces and today I find myself in a deciduous forest. It seems nature itself is trying to impede my efforts northeastward with rivers and wild beasts.

Anyways. As I was walking along the river I overheard a conversation. Rather than look suspicious I followed the voices until I met two strangers who looked almost like myself which made me feel more at ease about being randomly murdered or robbed."

"Apparently my reputation as a storyteller preceded me as they immediately knew who I was and were more than happy to chat about the surrounding area and helpful tips. They were both very friendly and I would be lying to say I wasn't tempted to stay there with them and start my life, but alas, I had to keep traveling to the northeast. Always to the northeast. This urge will be the death of me, and even then I won't be given a final rest until I reach my destination, whatever it may be.

We said our farewells and they helped me across the river so that I could continue my journey once again."

"I was a bit worried when I saw the condition the boat was in but I was safely ferried across. Also. if you noticed my change in appearance I applaud your attention to detail. I gathered some straw for the hat and I found the pipe in a dusty old cupboard full of feathers and leaves. I am slowly starting to look the part of the traveling storyteller, right? Now if I could just find some tobacco."

Alright. That's enough of the story for now. Gonna take a quick break and figure out how to get as far northeast as possible. It appears I keep running into rivers, which is becoming a problem. Also, quick question. I was exploring what I thought was an abandoned house but there was a hearthfire right inside the door so now I'm stuck on top of it. Is there a way I can get back outside the door? I have traveled too far without making a new hearthfire and I'm afraid I will lose a lot of time if I have to travel back to it.

I think if you switch to sprint and click lots of times away from it then you might be able to get off the hearthfire, Will you be able to get out the door afterwards? I'm not sure :/

Yeah. That's what some of the guys in global chat said. I'm gonna try for about 10 more minutes to try and get off this hearthfire. I don't want to lose about an hour of walking distance because of this.

You're stuck. Return to hearthfire.

Yep. I guess I have to. I need to remember this trick when I'm protecting my future home...

Put it outside of the door to prevent entry so you can protect your belongings inside instead.

I set off one more time, more wary of houses with their deceitful promises of forgotten riches. Sorry, this isn't the beginning of a new chapter in my story I just have a way with words, hehe. No, I won't be adding anymore for a bit because I don't want to bore you with "I found another abandoned house and camped there." I will begin again when I've reached my destination!

Has anyone ever heard of Ikor's farm village? If so, do you know where it's at on the map? I'm trying to find my location so I know how far northeast I am.

Edit: Nevermind I found it!

It is with great sadness that I report that Maker met his end at the hands of a wild bear. He foolishly tried to use the bear to destroy his hearthfire so he could travel with greater ease. While I will mourn his loss, his death is but another beginning to something much larger than he could ever think possible.

You have traveled far, Maker. Enjoy the rest you so deserve.
