But seriously that is way too much money to spend on a gaming rig.
I built mine for about only $300 2 years ago and it can still play some of the most demanding games today.

300 dollers? Dude :0 what does it have and how is it keeping up with the games today,Im pretty sure the CPU alone cost around 100-150 dollers depending on the model you choose.

It isn't spectacular, but I can still play recently released games.

Lol thats a srs ghettobox. Time to upgrade, bro.

Seems like I've put myself a decent rig for about 1.2k. Thanks to all that have helped.

Also, I'm getting two Nvidia SLI cards, I need a cheap motherboard that is compatible with SLI and not just Crossfire (most newer boards are), and seeing as I took some advice and went cheaper, I'd prefer not to have any Intel boards because those are extremely expensive even with a discount I can get from a friend.

I've never had issues with Asus boards until a recent one my brother bought that had a bad DIMM socket (shorted the RAM out right out of the box. not sure what other damage there was.) Otherwise, I highly recommend them (been using for 10+ years).

Uh, I have no idea what other parts your build entitles, but that may not be an appropriate motherboard.

I would be spending money on a good Motherboard, so you could upgrade later, should you need to. That mother boards is terrible IMO. Did you say you wanted an Intel CPU? Anyways, best of luck with your PC. :)

USB3 might be nice for the future as well, but yeah.
