Noobiest mistakes you've ever seen?

Prob about 5 min ago when I teled without my boat of LCs containing Q100 gold bars only to find out that my hearth was right next to a bear that spawned in my camp so I won't be back hmm in fact I think the same thing happend to me a month ago but they were LCs of troll skulls I gotta do better about things like that... anyway if I can remember correctly I left the stuff at co-ords 72,8 if anybodys their tell them the secret password "kill me I'm a thief and ill kill you if I get a chance" and you will gladly be show to the chests

the thread of course giving noobs a good story anyway...
just thought i should let you know i dreamt about this last night i logged on right at those co-ordinates (even though thats not where my hearth is or where i logged out) and saw 2 people waiting there and got spooked as i was running away 3 logged on and started running towards me then i either died and woke up or successfully logged out before combat and woke up :p

Not sure if my experience is actually stupid or merely embarrassing but...tracking a perpetrator continually southward. The tracking doesn't deviate at all no matter how far south I went. The perpetrator is online and so is his hearthfire. I decided to warp to another outpost that is must further south and it still pointed southward. It took me roughly 10 seconds to figure that I had the wrong scent and I was tracking my own scout alt's scent.

My friend was heading down toward his swamp and a guy with merchant robe a bear cape came up and started to break his boat. He hadn't agro'd him yet and my friend decides to get out of the boat and try to save it rather than hearthing, beacuse he has made like 10 boats in less than a week. So as soon as he got out of the boat the guy started to attack and killed him.
