Unplayable lag

I've been in this community over a year but I've never yet heard from the devs or mods that speak with them if there is anything we can do to help with the lag.
There is 500-1000 people playing always. The server is in sweden, home of amazing 100/1000/10000 internet.
Is there a way to get jorb/loftar to actually read this and perhaps say for example, 'we need 1000 dollars pooled and we can look at getting a better server to handle the load'
I would donate in a second if I knew the money went to the server.

thanks for clearing it up, that is the worst news for us at this point.
justifiably so, they are focusing their efforts on a new project. this game is fantastic, regardless of the lag.

It's an I/O problem with the present hard drive set up which we use to prevent map corruption.

As for the lag, it is the coding that contributes largely to the enormous amount of lag, and that's not going to change until Salem is released. Jorbtar simply don't have the time to update the game.

yeah that's the one, thanks, i remember someone saying that it was the cause for the lag spikes everyone gets frequently that cause the rubber banding we all love

before, people asked no questions and donated. devs posted their gratitudes and how it was used.
nowadays, some people *try* to threaten devs with "im not donating unless..." thing and complain all the way thru when they all should know devs are very busy with salem to make living.
do you actually expect devs to care for those complainers and read your complaints and reply to each?
(although im sure there are still those left who act without complaining and are just quiet about it.)

^totally with you. I don't care how long it will take until they set their thoughts back on HnH. They need salem for money. Just have some patience guys, there will be change eventualy.

I wasn't going to reply, but I couldn't resist telling you how much of an idiot you are.
Nobody threatened shit, I have donated in the past. I asked if it was a funding situation.
I also stated I know they are focused on salem and that I am not upset about it.
