Horrible lag

I have a bit of a question.

I played H&H for a couple months in April or May last year.

I didn't experience much lag at all. I was playing on a different computer at the time.

But now, on a laptop that should be able to run this game fine I get very, very bad lag compared to last year.

What I'm trying to ask is, for anyone who can remember back to the time I just mentioned, was the lag as bad as it is now?

I just keep thinking it's something to do with my current computer. When I try to kill an animal or raid an ants nest the game sorta freezes for a second or two then I get crazy choppy gameplay and nearly get killed trying to box in boars or bears.

My personal server tower isn't so good, 32 gigs of ram, 2 dual cores.
On the other hand, my good friend has a tower the size of a couple refrigerators. Really wish I knew the specs, makes my tower look like it's made of wood.
He's left the function of his tower up to me.
So yeah, seriously I'd host this server if not just to get rid of the horrible lag.

i dunno what you pay to have a that big tower, but one thing i know is that it will be on 7/24 for all month, imagine the electricity bills :S

I dont know why people keep saying it is because of backing up the server

I mean if all along this game was 3fps simply because they do a back up every 2 seconds, then that is just a huge wtf

Its NOT to do with the server but the script, they dont have time to upgrade the script as they are working on Salem and Hearth. Get over it.

again, as i've said to people a few times, jorb said it himself a while back, someone will eventually quote it, i remember loftar saying something in the irc quite recently about the server eating up more memory than it should have been

nice waste of time people, thought i would find something for lag fix or at least some kind of info... trolls all of you imo, I have lag but its not cpu, I have delay between actions like a good 3 or 4 sec... so ya i duno, prolly trash java imo
