That's quite a road you have planned! (still miles away from me)

have you considered making a fork to the trade centre "apples and oranges" ?

People might actually bring cart loads of good to trade that way.

what's the coordinates? if i know that i can make plans on passing near it
The sum of my experience is comprised up of more skeletons on my own claim then alot of you guys have wood blocks invested in your wall. But even though these skeles show i am a bad player- i still strive to continue through this vile territory in the hopes that one day i will have an army big enough to find you and murder all you know

You raise a good point but the point of this road isn't to be functional per se, more like a megaproject for the sake of it.

In fact I suspect that most villages/settlements would NOT want a road passing them, so that just anyone could visit

cr costs too much, and you miss out on the forageables
and highwaymen will happen... it's just changing jobs for folks that already rob and murder

not looking like anyone is saying they dont want a road, not getting any posts- haven't checked the mountain yet but not seeing anyone declaring 'no road'
