@cobaltjones - There were 3 entities mentioned in this thread before I commented unless Vigilance and/or Robert Bear are not considered people, which I guess is a possibility. And neither of them is really all that important. PHP did have a bit of a cult following and managed to get several threads made about them in ICA so they deserved a mention.

And saying the player base is 1/3 of what it is today like that is some kind of huge difference is the stupidest thing I've read on these forums since Xweetok was banned. The difference between 500 and 1000 people is pretty insignificant especially when you factor in that there are probably 3 to 5 Korean alts for every player online. Plus, there's very, very few factions in this world which kills the chance for intriguing characters to emerge.
