Can't we get Loftar a server specialist freelancer?

To be fair I understand their reticence to take the offered servers. If they had? In a couple months say a problem occurs between Russian and American players? Koya or whomever say "Hey now, remember who bought that server for you" and you have to ask yourself "Do I stay impartial and say "Thanks for the server but no" or do you say, "Well, that WAS a 3k dollar server so let me swerve a bit to your side in this argument" and even IF they stayed impartial people would always see an implied favoritism towards whatever side provided the server.... (just look at the uproars when they reward people with curios or capes or gold and shit when they find bugs.....)

as for haven, money doesnt matter much and its not even about player conflicts although i see where youre coming from.
its more about their identity and/or their policy (or possibly ego) to me.

anyways, back on topic,
loftar doesnt even let any programmers touch salem (except for, maybe jorb) and deals with it all by himself for his high or complex standards, why would he let anyone deal with haven? highly doubtful to me

While I do remember J&L getting a UPS from a generous player to help combat power issues and data loss, I agree. At this point if they themselves havent gotten ANY outside help (paid or free) for coding, it simply isnt likely to happen. Be it high standards, or whatever. Cannot say I can blame them either, after putting so much work into this game...

Does Jorb program? I thought he was mainly interested in 'subtly' putting penises everywhere possible in game?

I think Jorb mainly deals with design and art assets but I don't think he's unable to sub-code monkey when needed.

They did accept a piece of hardware as a donation back when the server was still in Jorbs appartment. For an expensive, professional server I guess Pain is pretty much right though. Anything that might limit their freedom over their game is a big nono.

Also: Seizure? Man...haven't see you in forever. Jorb can do some basic coding, yes.

Probably join up with Salem when the Open Beta starts. Game is looking pretty decent.

Another thing they can do is give the last 250 people that are playing H&H a Salem closed beta key lol.

I play(ed) H&H with 2 familymembers but we only have 1 salem key.

So 3 sad people.
1 who misses the other 2 in Salem
and 2 frustrated in H&H because that's the only game in this genre at the moment they can play. Well with a bit of luck 50% of the time between 2 spikes.

Salem open beta "soon" I noticed. Let's hope really soon and not blizzard soon
