I'm loathe to admit it but I'd be willing to shell out $15 a month for HnH. As for GM police, I've voiced my opinion on them elsewhere but they would only work if they're 100% tight lipped, their identities are not revealed to anyone, and they are paid to make sure that they're doing their job. Volunteers just don't cut it for the type of information that they'd have access to. I might even go so far as to say they shouldn't be allowed to play the game, if only for fairness reasons.

I don't know about 25$ a character..lol, but would I pay real money to play?..yes...maybe not full price (Due only to the permadeath from rampant griefers) but I would pay a monthly fee for H&H, between 5-10 perhaps per account. (more only if the permadeath/griefer problem could be addressed). But yes, I would pay real money for H&H in some way, and interestingly, I know many other players/former players who still have accounts who would as well.

Jorb and loftar are too busy working on their vertigo simulator, bob dole thinks it was called salem. It's basically a crappier version of haven, but theres cliffs everywhere to piss you off and the camera spins, so you can't tell what direction your going.

They may be developing Salem, but it's Paradox that calls the shots on the game mechanics and art assets and such.

Basically imagine them working on Haven as usual... Then-all-of-a-sudden-god-says-they-gotta-listen-to-his-every-whims-or-be-thrown-into-the-ocean!

You can do this:

Simply use a b2p model, charge $10 per account, and restrict character slots to 1 if it hasn't.
Botters can't abuse free accounts anymore.

Restrict max number of accounts per ip address to 5. Because there usually isn't more than 5 people in a family that plays the same game all together that often.
What's that? They would proxy their IP? That would increase the lag on themselves and decrease the efficiency of their scripts if they bought accounts only to bot...

Offer multiple server shards with player limits to play in, but in a good amount that it doesn't screw over gameplay of all players.

For instance, North America, South America, and Western Europe is closer together, so group them into a server called West Region 1. Region Locked
Then Western and Eastern Europe, East Coast North America, and Western Asia can fit into Central Region 1. Region Locked
Then Eastern Europe, Asia, and Australia, can fit into Eastern Region 1. Region Locked
Then finally, a shard that has no region lock for all global players to join. Named "Global 1".
