I would.

Of course I would.

But will I be given the chance? No, I doubt it.

I would be happy paying to play HnH, I wouldn't pay a monthly fee though, but I'd pay an upfront fee for an account...

I would. Even more but only if I could get a semi private server maybe even just for those that pay with the option of invites for friends. Not because I'm an elitist nor do I support making hh pay to play or god forbid pay to win but it's my firm belief that it would solve a lot of issues like infinite alts (unfortunately this would open up the possibility of pay to win but allowing a certain number of alts for each account should lessen that issue). More importantly it would hopefully remove my interaction with a lot of the people that I consider have hurt the game more than the terrible balance jorb and loftar inflict on the game due to ideological reasons rather than practical ones. People that have turned hh from a civilization building game into a destroy, troll, exploit abuse race. They can still have their cake but I refuse to interact with them. I simply do not have the time anymore to compete on those terms. I would rather expend my limited time on building and creating virtual civilization rather than fending off or trying to control the effects of those that only know how to destroy.

I would but I'd be scared that the money would go to developing Salem, and I sure as hell don't want that.

Salem is a joke, someone please put a painless injection in that games neck, and put it down.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

They should get the game into Beta or Full Release, throw it on Steam Greenlight, and monetize with cosmetics and customizations (like TF2) that wouldn't really affect gameplay but would convince people to spend money.
Of another era.

I'd spend good money for a goatee on my character.
