every village has atleast one char studying curios, farmers are forever full change, so village idols are fine with that system
but same system with personal claims will create problems for those, who want to play fighter or miner, for those, who dont want/need to have change alts

Why is it necessary to complicate the system at all? Just base it on whether a character is active or not. If they aren't logging in anymore then make the claim decay naturally after some months. If they are active then something akin to a waste claim meant specifically to destroy claims would probably work well.

What's complicated? the authority system is already on place, just make it to cover personal claims as well, as for whatever rubbish the other guy is spewing i still don't think it has anything to do with the Authority system. if you don't log in? your Authority bar doesn;t fill and your claim stake becomes vulnerable. Easy.

How about combining the useless ancestral worship with P-claims. Sacrifice for the shrine then feed P-idol with numens to keep it alive.

As someone well versed in bashing and the Ancestor shit, no, just no. Having lp trickle to Authority is one thing but gaining numen is like fucking pulling teeth.

pclaim bound to authority -no!
pclaim - need to log in once a month ( or every 2-3 month) + right click claimstake - yes!

funny how everyone that wasn't hardcore enough to play during lag times now tries to catch up in every possible ways ...

some ppl did a lot of declaiming all through the lag of long time (before lag) inactive places already

 ;) :P :D

cheers to all that played all through the lag!!! 8-)

what about full trad then?

It would have a better lp:auth ratio then vclaim. It would be ment for dandelion noobs, not people with full 200q+ curio studies.
