why is it so hard to get friends to play this game?

I only ever got 2 of my real life friends to play this with me, but that was during the time in 2012 where I basically quit after realizing I had a life.

I introduced the game to 4 friends. 1 of them didn't understand the point, and when I told him what it took to build a simple log cabin he gave up. The other 3 were willing to put some work into making something awesome, but when they got raided or killed, they couldn't handle the permadeath aspect.

I cant even get my friends to play simple games let alone a hardcore game like HnH. Last time I showed it to some friend they puked all over the graphics then told me I'm just dumb for waiting 10 days for a cow to grow up. I just gate up trying to find people to play this after that.

After few minuts there are 2 choises:

1 - "I can't do nothing. What the hell..!" <--- So seems he never played ANY sandbox game. Prolly he'll quit and go to search something that fix with him.
2 - "Oh. Pretty slow. And i can also build walls, streets and society? Can i help you?" <--- He'll play, 'cuz he likes sandbox games.


Then both friends are killed by some bored powerplayer and both leaves the game.
'Cuz permadeath and sandbox game are a bad mix for someone that don't want to waste his time.
H&H is a total waste of time and all he stuff you do are gonna to be raided for sure, soon or later.
So better if you find friedns that wanna really trow theyr time to hell, in a useless game that you have to live day per day.
'Cuz ther's no goal you can reach. The goal is play, everything else different from this will meet the boredom of other players that will fight to stop you (mostly for no reason) and the few time where ther's a reason, will be the few time you'll enjoy it.

Also, you can only play 5-10 mins a day and still have a 600 ua character, cretin.

I never understood how somebody who plays video games a lot is considered a "loser". I swear our society comes up with the most retarded ways to miss-use the English vocabulary.
As for the topic, try getting your friends to play at the start of a new world. Being on equal footing and not worrying about murder for a few weeks really helps.
