I just started reading Lewis Carrol's book on symbolic logic, and this sticks out as a sore thumb for me: he consistently spells cant with apostrophes between a and n and n and t!
EDIT: hmm, would that have been clearer had I put quotation marks between between and a and a and and and and and n and n and and and and and n and n and and and and and t and t and the exclamation point?
EDIT 2: aha, now I see, the apostrophes mark contractions, there are letters missing between a and n and n and t, namely n and o!
EDIT 3: screw't!
