Do you realise everyone (almost everyone) kill trolls with whatever exploit they can find, since atm there is no other method for it, except if you got 2-3 good chars ua-ing it and not escaping or blocking.

What he did was at the end stupid, but at least he wanted to fight it as fight mechanics should be, with high stats against high leveled troll.

They should just made trolls being able to bash everything that you can block with and stop this throwing crap.

How it should be and how it is are two different things, I'm afraid. Until the game mechanics are ironed out and polished there's really no room to complain. He took a risk and paid for it. We've known Trolls cause cave-ins for awhile now.

Care to fill an idiot in on how to go about doing it without losing important chars?

maybe leveling your char further before trying to fight it? dunno.

btw, i happened to have asked loftar about this a few days ago too...

so, possibly it is another bug. maybe it is just that this time around the bug is not beneficial to players
