Could be something outside or another location, too. A cat's sense of smell, while not as strong as a dogs, is up there on the charts in the animal kingdom, and they can smell other animals from outside. Cats of all kinds are extremely territorial.

what? one toilet per cat is a rule.
if you have two, you need at least 2 and an extra, so 3. that is minimum.

But it's always my things

cats know my feeling.
joking aside, maybe they seriously feel threatened about your existence. otherwise, female cats dont normally spray.
do you have a good relationship with your cats?

I would say that this is possible, but as far as I know we're the only apt. with animals in it and since we live North all of our windows are closed 95% of the time. Originally when we moved in our cat hid under a day bed that we had, after she got over her initial fear she began pissing on the damn thing. I assume that was seen as her safety blanket and once they piss on it once they just kept on doing it. But as of right now if we leave any clothing on the ground it will be pissed on by the end of the night. I guess we could see about moving the litter box, sort of hard though considering the only other room to put it in has the daybed we're currently blocking them off from

Well the one that is doing it is always coming to my side wanting to be pet, always wants to sleep near me, pushes her head into me when I'm down on her level etc. So she shows a lot of signs of liking me... Cats are confusing creatures :|

Buy a spray at pet shop, use it on the floor area where you dont want the cat to piss and leave without spray the area where you place the sand or whatever product you buy for it to piss on. This gave me good result.
My experience is that cats do this things when changes are made in the place they feel is theirs, and it takes 2 or 3 months for them to adapt.

This sounds like it could work out. We have a cushion that we keep on the floor normally, it's like a body pillow. The cats love that shit and sleep on it 24/7, we've recently took it off the floor since they started this peeing thing, but she might be annoyed at that also

ah. then she may be stressed out with the new environment...she may hate the new apartment you moved in.
if that is the real cause, it may take a while for her to stop, since you cannot remove the cause. only thing i can think of is to make the toilet environment as similar as how it was for her before moving, the same sand, same box, similar objects around, not close to her favorite spot and so on.... i dont know. i would still try to check her piss and take her to a vet just in case, but thats just me.

make sure you dont yell at her or do things that might threaten her when you find her spraying again, it would only worsen the case. you instead need to comfort her.

p.s.
just saw the above posts, if that thing works, thats great.
