Russians are misunderstood because they don't speak english. I've found most to be quite nice.

Genocide (a villager of me) is russian and writes almost perfect english. He's a nice guy

He's Latvian, but yeah I know 2-3 Russians who can't speak English, the rest can. I don't think that all of the 89% of Russians would play this game if they didn't know English, eh?

Many do. I'm aware of that but I'm also aware that a majority doesn't.http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_Russia according to Wikipedia it's 11%.

I played in russian village Roadville last world.
About a third of them could speak english.

one of the first towns to support me in world 4 was a Russian town who didnt speak much English, but they were really great people. that's the general experience anyway..also Most of AD now aren't really even Russians, theyre a mixed group!

Meh. Almost half of latvians can speak russian, because latvia was part of the Soviet Union. People could easly travel between countries wich were in USSR.
That's only one of the reasons why. One more reason, for example: Latvia was occupied by Russia/Germany several times during world wars.
