huh

Russia is in the region to stop the fascists from doing what they do.

You'd see the fascists killing people and police on the streets, the russians hands are clean.

Elaborate? From my understanding politicians afraid of losing power in the region annexed what police and military they could get their hands on and asked Russia to come help them. In response to this Russia declared it was fighting the good fight in the name of the people and then promptly began to cut down the protestors and civilians who were fighting the fascist regime. Within hours of events unfolding they took and held every major airport and entrance/exit into the area that they could and began to do their thing, whatever it was.

Any under circumstances does russia have any business in Crimea. You can't aggressively go into a region and protect "your people" by force. Well bot that that factor stopped anyone. Crimea belongs to Ukraine and they should handle it.

Anyone with a brain knows damn well Moscow didn't go into Crimea for that reason. Its just Putins way of stretching his political power because the UN are too soft to do a damn thing about it. "We want to punish russia financially". You think Putin gives a damn about these retarded sanctions?

So long as UN continue this method, russia will not stand down.

A nation is not defined by the borders on rotten maps. A nation is not defined by the "government". A nation defines itself by the people who life there. In this case. Whole Ukraine should be heard. There is always a diplomatic way. Just not between Obama and Putin. Also not between Janukovitch(?) dunno if spelled correct and the new one XD. It should be discussed by the people who are affected. But therefore also the west-ukranian should be heard since the eastern region belongs to the ukraine currently - so do the resources. If the people work out something like italy and south tyrol it will be the best way

I think that the situation in Ukraine is just scratching the surface of the real problem of Russia. Putin is fearing a loss of power and a revolution in his country and so tries to put one down in Ukraine that could spread like wildfire. Also it is convenient for the pro-russian ukrainians life style to live under a pro-russian government than under any other. I bet that their leaders were powerfully financed by Putin for loyalty and such just to keep being a pain in the behind for the rest of the population. Thank god there are also ukrainian right extremists to be used as scapegoats by powerful people in their quest for ultimate power else even Putin would of felt bad about moving over :P

Taking into account that there's a gas pipe that goes from Russia to Europe in the Crimean Peninsula...

Crimea is the little peninsula, nothing more. And the onion.

They are just a minority, they really won't do anything in such small numbers.
