When it comes right down to it, I didn't give a fuck about most of his cast. Skipped most of book five to see how certain characters turned out.

Their acting makes me interested in previously uninteresting characters.

Fair, many people found the fourth and fifth novels to be dreadfully boring and simply read because of their attachment to the series as a whole. I didn't though, as I find Martin makes even the mundane things very interesting because of the glimpse that they provide you into the world, the characters, their motivations, and the societies that they are in.

Also, a lot of the "boring" shit has had interesting embedded shit happen in it without it being obvious. Like Brienne at the Sept on the Quiet Isle.

Whoa, let's not give anything away for the people who haven't read that far.

o.O - A character at a geographic location with no significance and that hasn't been heard of before or since? Well, I guess we can be careful!

The only thing that that spoiled is that Brienne isn't dead yet.
By the way, just finished the second book today, and started the third one, though I'm a bit disappointed since the thing that just happened in the shows got spoiled to me nearly as soon as it happened. I lurk the internet a lot, so it was impossible to avoid lol.

I'm trying to look as preoccupied as possible during the sex scenes, so, uh.

Watching mouth-watering sex scenes with your mom and sis is the best way for you three to bond.

After little-finger was introduced, I came out to them as asexual.
