It's worth noting that the gold was given as a reward for experimenting and finding a game crashing bug that was being used by other players to create uber chars. Their characters had to be deleted due to the crazy stats that had been obtained via the bug and so to compensate them for the loss they got a few gold nuggets and some mid-level curios that they couldn't use.

I had an idea given to me by a certain person to create a faction with random name, build things, invite newbies, grind some stats and stir up some drama by going to war with everyone else. That would spice up the game.

You can't create a 'superpower' that has access to everything, no, but if you have 5 guys botting pearls and swamps, in short time you can buy anything you need to farm characters enough, and do some combat. Sure, you can't keep up with the best, but if you're good at combat you sure could stir up drama.

If those 5 guys played with each other for months or years - yes. If they came from recruitment thread and just met - no chance. People tried. All the drama they caused was inside their villages.

What if 1 guy running 5 characters at once?
Bonus points if have custom client that allows to control attacks and moves of different characters in 1 screen.
Nightmare mode: all combat alts are actually farmers.
