@ LadyV - yeah, I have made a variation with chicken, you can also use Tuna - I love pasta, it's so versatile, and make quite a few pasta dishes. And, yes, for you we can go straight to the desert. :)

Fools.

Spaghetti is where it's at. I usually grow my own tomatoes for the sauce, peel and boil them, grind them up, cook, add garlic, basil, and whatever else your twisted heart desires. I can't make it that well but my Nonna makes it like a fine art.

In my house I have it at least three nights a week since we have so much surplus sauce, but I'm not complaining. I sometimes give homemade it away in big glass jars on Christmas or for birthdays to my friends.

It's a weird Japanese Recipe I learned called " Beef Tataki "

It's simply just Seared thinly sliced N.Y. Strip beef w/Truffle oil & Yuzu salt. Chopped onion & scallion on top

Pretty good shit and to top it all off...

Also, for those with a sweet tooth;
Image
Gooey bars

1 box yellow butter cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter (melted)

Hand mix all together and press your crust mix into the bottom of a 13x9 greased pan (shallow-ish)

1/2 stick butter (melted)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 8oz softened cream cheese
1lb powdered sugar
1/2 bag semi sweet chocolate chips

Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar together with a mixer, then eggs, vanilla, and melted butter- pour on top of crust and sprinkle chocolate chips

Bake at 350 for 50 min
Cool completely before cutting

It's more or less like a chocolate chip cookie cheesecake brownie bar.
Best with a tall glass of milk.
