For obvious reasons i suspect thieving people come from mordor.

I don't see the "obvious reasons"

They are the people who have to travel the farthest to get there, have the least to gain (they should be pretty developed already) and the most to lose (assuming you catch them and kill them)

Could you explain your side of the logic to me?

EDIT: sorry if this post is a little defensive, based on the map there are only like 6 of us out in mordor, so statements about us are a bit more personal to me.

I was thinking that most thieves would come straight from the ring of Brogdar, but I don't know, so I didn't question Sami. I'm curious too, though-What are the obvious reasons? Lack of friends and allies to help make the steel?

I think I know the guy you're looking for.

His name's shockedfrog. He plays female characters.

While I wouldn't be surprised if it was him, I'm not so quick to point my finger. He isn't the only one that has the ability to walk up and take unguarded (our bad, but with playing at the same time and whatnot, not much we can do) metal.

Maybe shockedfrog did do it. Maybe workerdrone did it. He seems to have built up quite the hatred for me.

Last I check we only had two. He also did take iron from Bottleneck, as much as he could, and just reset the rest.

Woah woah woah.

Krantarin wrote:Why do you think it was shockedfrog? We've done nothing to offend...

Let me just stop you right there.

Shockedfrog is a deviant, a villain who cares for nothing but his own immediate gain. When he stole from Bottleneck, we had exchanged NOT A SINGLE WORD with him. He doesn't need OFFENSE to do what he does, he'll simply take what he wants, and do what he wants considering no consequences.

Poor taste in sane mind I would say, but this is why he'll never have any appropriate allies.

[02:31] <Malicus> Actually, it's more like it destroyed his pants.
[02:31] <WorkerDrone> Even more kinky.

Apple tree incident? Isn't that was SF originally did to become noticed and hated by people? I don't see what you're trying to point out by referencing this incident.

I'm saying that from an outsider's point of view, there already was animosity between Shockedfrog and the Dwarves. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'll bet there was at least one thing that a DF player had done to offend SF.

Now I don't want to defend a recognized public enemy or fight a noble race, I simply am pointing out that we're not assuming it's your enemy without further proof. I don't know if you're all from countries ruled by dictators, but in the country I'm typing from, one of the few things that works is our legal system. The motto "Equal Justice Under Law" means quite a bit to a layman like me, so I try to be fair.
