The game is really fucking hard. You spawn naked in the woods, get a thorn in your foot, starve to death, or get killed by a wild pig. I still can't get past a day or two alive and don't even try swimming. I cam see why ppl don't play

But seriously though if you really are having that much trouble you might see if you can band together with other people. Strength in numbers and all. In my opinion a good perma death survival game needs to be deadly to some extent or else it's not using a core mechanic and balancing factor.

i only know 1 russian in the game who i can say isnt shit at wreking nabz so i think ur wrong 99.9% of russians are complete shit

You've been grossly misinformed. Settlements are mostly abandoned because people play at different times than you, quit playing for any myriad of reasons, or decided to seek better quality resources elsewhere. Nothing keeps you tied to a spot and it's rarely raiders that chase players away, it's usually the boredom of being locked in walls all of the time.

Are there even any major Russian raiding factions at this point?
