Nice story and all except it's not true. He now trolls players with dev powers. The aforementioned dunce hats plural which he imparts to people usually for disagreeing with him and his grand vision, the april first "event" with the tree that teleported players in the middle of the ocean knocking you out and losing all your inventory, making the game harder or threatening to make it harder when he meets legitimate concerns about difficulty (in his mind there is no such thing) if I remember right some people quit because he was helping some other group in pvp against them. He is a troll with dev powers the worst kind.

They only teleport people who are disrupting fight club events or other dev events. The 'White Snake Tree' on April first spawned agro'd snakes when you tried to pick branches from it. It didn't port you anywhere, the KO's happened from sanke bites and they didn't agro unless you picked from the tree. The Russians took advantage of this to kill thousands of snakes for skulls.

They haven't permanently put any nerf hats on anyone for very long. Mostly just if they get banned for something on the forum and then mostly just for the length of the ban. I was by far the longest to have to suffer from it at about 2 months and that was mostly because they hadn't dev'd taking off cursed items yet.

Why do you even bring up permanent in regards to hats? It's the underlying problem of messing with a players character ingame for things they post on the forums it's like you goverment tatooed "not patriotic enough" on your forehead for all to see but only they have the technology to remove it but it's ok since if you mend your ways enough and please the powers that be they will eventually remove it.

I can't be sure about the teleport thing I just saw it on the forums during the complains about the magic tree and I assume it was related even if it's not knocking out your players and causing them to lose their entire inventory for "disrupting" events whatever that means but if it's as good a reason as putting irremovable hats on people and dumping their original gear then yeah...

Anyway I'm now firmly convinced you did deserve that hat. This thread here is proof enough.

No, you didn't, but okay. Not only did you occasionally troll but you neglected to ever back me up regarding anything else I argued on and continued to suckle the teet of your master at which point I had decided trying to help you was a huge waste of time.

Master, wtf are you talking about?

I just reread that thread and the first post of the thread I thank you and others for supporting me. Then I was banned for 3 months. How could I have supported you? Anyways this is silly, Yes the chief and the rest bought the game, it would've died if they hadn't. They trolled me idiotically and basically ruined the first week of their ownership of the game by turning it into a big racist shitstorm on the forums and in area chat in Providence. The banned me to change the subject and because their troll attempt blew up in their face. They haven't trolled me or anyone else like that since then.

The Chief fucked over his RL friends in the tribe that he had played with for 2 years much more than he did me. The entire group that he played with committed in-game suicide and gave their towns to Darwoth. Brona and Biddas are back but he was good friends with PmP and Khaz and they felt betrayed.

I think the Dev's probably learned their lesson and are past doing dumb stuff like that. It's been 8 months since they've individually griefed anyone or singled anyone out for dev griefing. I think we're past it and they'd be utter idiots to do it before the release.

It's been 4 months since I got a hat for asking that the events they made be a bit more inclusive to newer/more casual players. That was a week after the dev kinned me ingame and thanked me personally for my contributions on the forum. It was also the last day I logged into salem. Why do you keep lying? They learned their lesson? The whole snake tree was in april this april two weeks ago is that kind of fun event a sane reasonable dev makes for the playerbase? On one side it kills noobs on the other side it's exploitable by the established.

Others? Who the fuck else spammed that forum berating that piece of shit developer in your defense besides me? And even when the drama over your ban died down I was still throwing jabs here and there when the opportunities arose.

Then I was banned for 3 months. How could I have supported you?

I'm talking about when you returned as if you hadn't just been thoroughly fucked by John Carver. You came back and resumed your normal duties and whatever bullshit that happens to be did not involve supporting reasonable arguments against more abuse of his power.

I have seen no complaint on the forum about him trolling with devs power, after what he did with the Tribe. If things went wrong horribly there must be at least one or two posts about it and I have seen none? I check the forum everyday. (aside from salty bug abusers)
Also, nicely said Claeyt. Did Jorb or Loftar put the dunce cap on you too? Like I can't imagine how can you stand all this troll. Never thought I will like you somehow, somewhere.
And the fact that the game is changing everyday is good enough. We will see if some of the more open-minded players will be interested, not the ones who didn't play and keep on bashing :|
I also think that more reasonable actions and restriction is being put into his mind after awhile.
You can't expect one of the biggest troll and mass-murderer to change over night just because he is now the god of your world. He probably will kill some of the fags he hates first, then cool down. Like a... power puberty...
Still, it is refreshing to hear voices from another view. At least they make us realize some facts we didn't think about before.

Seriously? We are talking about that man's job. What would you say if the owner of the coffee place you go to slaps you in the face everytime you buy your morning latte? "That's ok man, just get it out of your system."

Your argument is just mind boggling to me.
