I really doubt it. And as the matter of fact, if that scheme worked, then you just needed to eat some boar sausage before that.

And if on topic:
Let us see the price on bear meat changing after pathfinding ;)

P.S. Please, could someone make ~+/- pricelist on stuff?

What have you got?

I'm interested in bear meat and boar meat in any quantity. I've stated the bear prices, boar prices are far lower as I can hunt them myself for minimal risk.
I'll pay for bulk butter because it's annoying to do myself, but not heaps
I'll also pay for bulk carrots, but it'd have to be pretty high volume for pretty low return, you're talking maybe 1 cast iron coin for a basket full (includes basket)
I may eventually offer decent money for bulk rabbit meat (like, 10 cast coin for a basket)

I'm not super keen on flour but might be persuaded to part with some coin for a chest full.

You're unlikely to get someone to go to the effort of putting a price on every possible item and posting it publicly. It'll change too frequently depending on the task they have at hand... A few days ago I would have traded my sword for two chests of carrots, but today I've got plenty.

Pick something you want, then either ask what price we'll sell it for or make an offer.

The economy is run entirely by players, so supply and demand will have a direct effect on the values of items. For example, I traded a steel bar for 8 pieces of bear meat, a bear cloak, and a bear hide. I really wanted the meat so I could equalize my stats and move on to improving the others. He needed the steel bar for a ranger's bow. So we both really wanted the other's items; that's why the trade was more or less desperate.

On a side note: The crash took the traded bear meat, hide, cloak, and all 9 bars of our steel. Image
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

There's no valid reason why any attributes should be left out just because
they happen to be further down the list. It's not an order of priority.

When the food bar goes beyond 100 %, the chance to gain a certain attribute
should be based on how many % of the total amount that attribute stands for.
So no matter how many bear salamis you eat, given that you only eat bear
salamis, you should always have a 57 % chance to get strength and a 43 %
chance to get charisma.

Hrm, well damn, there's my theory shot to pieces. Ah well.

I have in the past traded 5 salami (just over 1 bear worth) for a soldiers sword (2 steel). Both parties were very happy with the trade. As part of that same trade I also exchanged 9 bear salami for an equal amount of deer sausage.

A dedicated hunter in a good area can produce a metric butload of bear meat over time. I average about a bear kill per hour I spend hunting, and only consume about 1/4 of it to keep my STR level with my other stats. On the other hand a dedicated miner can also produce a large amount of steel in the same timeframe. Meanwhile I believe bear spawns are also much more rare in more civilized areas. You need to remember the limiting factor on bear is not how long it takes to kill, butcher, and prepare the product. The limiting factor is actually finding them.

So really, the value of each product will vary widely based on the person. Personally I value bear at only moderately valuable since I typically end up with large stocks of it produced as surplus. I also value steel less than others since I do not wear metal armor I do not have a continuous need for more steel.
