Warri, can I have the coordinates for WV, its the only reason I havent noobchimed.Err um, I mean valiantly assaulted with my main.

I dont know what you mean with "noobchimed" but the position of wv is pretty publically known.

Yeah, you must be a pretty shitty ranger if you don't know where WV is. Or am I the only one that collects random scents and tracks them for fun?

The fun part starts when you have found the criminal, but since potjeh never executes one I guess he finds something else in wandering through the woods...

I think that the tracking part is more fun. Especially when going into unknown territory. Do I carry the boat, or do I build another? Will this river take me in the right direction? Will I run into any villages I didn't know about? It's really the perfect excuse to go explore the world.

'Course, sometimes I don't bother actually physically going to the place where the scents point, and instead just see where it is on the map.

I agree with Potjeh, tracking can be quite fun, often I do it with no intention of killing anyone, just out of curiosity.
