Wryd will be the end of Haven and Hearth

I think this will make Haven and Hearth go way down hill because some of us dont want to do all of this stupied stuff to gain Wrd I just wanna play. If this "upgrade" is actually coming I think many will quite including me.......

As I said on the issue, the "general announcement" thread on the "unvieling of the idea", as with most in that section, becomes very bogged down very very quickly, with massive pages of comments ranging from 3 day noobs who haven't played past building a boat to long time loyalists who've been playing since day 1. It's very hard to traverse such wide ranges of point/counter-point/slam/bitchslap/yes/no/well thought opinion/spam/buttkiss/the king can do no wrong/blah blah.

Sometimes it's a bit easier and cleaner to make a specific thread about a specific point/opinion if it's general enough to warrant one (Like or dislike for instance) so that like minded persons can follow the more specific discussion without all the clutter. That's why I chose to post my opinon on the subject in this one as opposed ot the other. I read the announcement thread, went through the valued opinions, came to mine ,That being there already exists many games like that (the childish Wizards 101 for instance..lol) and many others like Runes Of Magic (And I don't even want to list the other 50 cookie cutter "create your point pool with magic to buy skills" games). So When I saw a thread on that feeling I posted in it instead.

Screw longterm investments. I prefer a game that is about player skill, not character skill, a game that can be played casually without having all your shit wrecked by someone who spends an unhealthy amount of time playing. Yes, I know I'm playing an MMO, just let me enjoy my fantasy

Well past experience tells us that it WILL most likely be shit and poorly thought. The way it seems now is just adding it because it looks cool and not because it will enhance gameplay.

Loyal players of a game do not make "Cheap calls for the attenion of the devs", nor do they consider their opinons "threats of quitting = you'll be sorry" (he who smelt it, dealt it, and your immaturity is showing by even thinking that). Instead I think somone like LMan would be saying that out of fear...fear that something they cared about (the game) would be ruined , or in dissapointment perhaps , they they would not be able to play anymore (especially if the game was changed into something else they didn't like). SO perhaps you should try to see more mature motives in things people do...it was at least indicate that such mature motives would be fore-front in your mind instead of immature ones...which could indicate your own maturity level? Just a thought.
