I harvest my whole field in one go anyway, so harvesting the wrong tile isn't a problem. I find it much easier to raise q when I can harvest everything in a single session and have it ready for another harvest tomorrow (except for pumpkins). And small fields save on walking too.

Look at his field and the carrot grape border and the grape wheat border. The sprites mix tell me you will never miss click and get grapes instead of carrots. Then you need to dump them in a separate container to sort q differently for both it's just a hassle. I will never make a permanent field without at least 3 tile paved path between every individual plot. Space enough for carts maybe even some side chests you name it.

well, i didnt start in oktober ;P
of course its not that efficient, though there is no real problem when you harvest all in once...
i guess i would have moved anyway, because the waterq is quite low and there isnt any proof on a single mineral in a wider circle
