Eel's and Sturgeon usually bite often when there is a full moon. At least that's what it seems like for my villagers when they went fishing yesterday.

I'm catching eels, sturgeons and roaches with all q10 equipment, using rock lobster in deep water in the morning. Full moon, of course.

It seems to me a good way to catch Plaice is with a plant fiber line, bone hook, and woodfish in lake shallows. If anyone cares. Time of day doesn't seem to matter a huge amount.

Has anyone figured out what the "baseline" lure is?

As it stands right now it's pretty obvious that different fish chances are determined on the "moon cycle" more than anything else. From my poking and prodding lures seem to modify where on the cycle you are: Leeches would put you a cycle or two in the future, while Worms will put you a cycle or two in the past. Cheaper lures have almost no effect(woodfish/rock lobster) while more expensive lures will have a very large effect from the looks of it(just guessing).

Lures seem to have lots of effects though(most obvious one being speed, and catch). So we can guess that some lures will affect some things and not others, just a matter of figuring out all the effects that exist, and having access to enough materials/time/data.

I always get the same fish/es regardless of the lunar phase. With a ql10 rod, ql20 hook, ql10 string, and ql10-q15 leeches I get plaices and breams. When I change to a ql40 hook, I get salmons and breams. With all materials at ql10, perches and occasional pikes..
