Okay, Let me make this clear.
I started with 0 initiative fighting the bear, I wore no sheilds, no helmet.I had leather shirt, leather pants, and leather boots as my only defense. I did not run, I was not knocked out. I defeated this bear authentically, from the beginning of the fight.
In fact since then I have killed another bear.

did you hide behind an obstacle to rest or not?

Jorb, I feel it is time to release a now monster....the men of Hearth have been able to best all your creatures.
EDIT: And let us be able to make his bones into a skull helmet, or armor with a skull on the shoulder.

nice. Would be nice to know what your skill is at to get that result.
I think rift only uses unarmed now to hunt. I believe he said he was able to kill a level 5 and 6 bear unarmed.

Agreed. Will hopefully happen with the map reset. I don't want to do it before pathfinding is fixed, however. Two new kritters are in the works (As in, I have begun serious work on their GFX).
