Amet is the subjunctive of amo, amare, amavi, amatum - Love (in verb form both emotional and physically to love) roughly translates as (he/she/it should/may love)

Edit: the latin isn't proper (in fact the lorem ipsem text is giberish), the speech below it and its translation is fine. The Lorem ipsem speech is only a game designer trick to make it look like books have something written in them. Not a dire message.
I think it's made of bubbles and hate.
