Chopping down trees to the extent where there are none in a 2 supergrid radius isn't funny, dude. It's serious shit.

You're probably quite new, as you don't seem to know about what kind of trolls go through these forums...

In the average forested 250 x 250 tile area (including a river running through the middle), there are approximately 700 trees. There are 400 such size areas on any given super-grid (a super-grid is 5000 x 5000 tiles).

If we assume this as a standard measure, that equates to 280,000 trees per super-grid.

If we assume that there are currently 49 super-grids in the world, then that equates to 13,720,000 trees.

It takes approximately 10 seconds to cut down a tree. That equates to 137,200,000 seconds; 38,111 hours; 1,588 days or 4.3 years non-stop to cut down all the trees in the world.

It will take 32 days of non-stop tree cutting in order to clear a single super-grid.

Have fun!

1)Multiple clients already cuts that down at least 4 fold, you could do it farther.
2)Last I checked on dfwk there was a clearcutting macro posted somewhere that also makes buckets, wouldn't be hard to reproduce either. If it could run in the background, on let's say 10 clients, that would cut the time drastically.

If he doesn't care about actually keeping the character up he can even just make more characters when they get hugnry and scrap the old ones.

I'm sure anyone near him would kill him if he was caught doing so, and he'd run into a bunch of problems.

I'd love to deforest an entire supergrid though, would be awesome >:)

(I'd then replant a bunch of trees slowly that are of a higher quality)

I'm going to avoid talking about macro's because I don't know anything about them.

But we have enough forests, how about some nice open plains?

I need somewhere to sit down and have a picnic.

I don't think you have enough strength to knock down a brick wall and kill 5 people with high combat skills at the same time...
