That is the kindest thing anyone will say to me. I thank you for at least feigning sympathy for my perspective.

I don't think he's feigning it.

I do have sympathy for your perspective. My alt lived in Fox Gulch for a while, had the same kind of problems as you and Dondy and everyone else in the area.
but on the other hand, camping for hours to kill people only vaguely related to that was a bit overboard, IMHO.

Well, what started as a trip to Zarekim to request peaceful justice for theft escalated into all this. I was robbed and attacked by enough Goons that it's unfair to assume I could get all their names, track all the right scents, and match them up perfectly with zero interference from other Goons, despite their claims that it would be "fair play."

From my perspective its the camping and the length of time allegedly spent camping that bothers me.

Oh and a player by the name of Jon with reasonable stats just attacked again, attacked me too.

I remember meeting Jon a while back (when I was working on the drying rack wall, so it must have been three weeks ago). He seemed like a decent guy. Perhaps he just got annoyed and took it way, way too far. I know Raephire is a decent guy too. I think he's getting annoyed, and may go a little too far also. There probably is a way to work this out through diplomacy and repayments, defense treaties and other reperations for the SA people. I don't know. It seems like everyone hated the goons a moment ago and now there has been a flip because someone found a new enemy and everyone was quick to take the same side. I think we may need to get over this public enemy mentality. Flipping out so often may not be healthy. I'll note that Jon was the vigilante before, and Raephire is now. Maybe Rift will be the next one. Then I suppose Blaze will have to be drawn in, and all of the powerful characters are suddenly killing each other.

I will probably be getting death threats for this. The typical "You're a friend of mass murderers!" Or "You're a friend of goons!" I think we need to go back to commerce and trade. Roads and villages. The dynamics of the game that every good hearthling loves. Stop feeding the griefers.

Krantarin I agree with you for the most part. I was only up there to have a look and to help a friend but I got attacked and lied to by Jon which certainly makes this personal.

Nothing short of my death is going to satisfy these people, and I'm okay with that. I don't know why they're being referred to as innocents when they have this "all for one, one for all" attitude about Goon affiliation. If a group of Goons attacks me, then I will attack a group of goons.

@ Vattic: I was pretty stoked that I could land a blow, I figured you were one of those Mordor rangers. Since I'm wanted for death there is no reason for me *not* to go nuts on whoever, sadly.
