Im asking for a second world to be developed, so some of us can start over. Too hard to ask? maybe, but i gotta try, its infuriating finding stuff you need already taken.

So, there's your reason, that vilages will trade metals with you.

Now, stop whining, and get busy on gathering stuff to trade for metal.

If people actually cared to use enough metal it would be easy, I've hit 2 corners of the same mine already. What's dug versus what's undug, well only about half is left to dig out :/ (Unless by some freakish anomaly it's longer on one side than the other)

I have a great idea. live without metal. its not that hard, I didn't see metal until two weeks after i started playing when i found a metal plow. hell you can make sausage grinders without metal now too. living without metal is not that hard, its less convenient, but its not difficult. hell, all the metal you really need is cellars and a pickax to dig out the boulders. 5 bars. thats it. thats like 5 chests of bricks, some cheese, or a hell of alot of cavebulbs or chants. trading is easy and fun.

1.find village
2.try to contact them on the forums
3.receive or send pm to lawspeaker after making contact to arrange a deal
4. ??????????
5. profit

I played my first month without metal.

Then I spent 3-4 days travelling around and looking for mines, and I found 2 of them. One was already built, the other was completely undiscovered.

The responses here are retardedly childish, but not incorrect. You have no reason to whine about lacking metal. It requires effort. If you don't find any, live without it.

And here I am having found 2 tin mines and an iron mine in the same SG, also have another Iron mine.

Really the mines are out there you just need to find them. Be an explorer.

Hey Mav,

A new one is coming, but keep in mind that this is a project from a basement that will never be "fair".

Sorry to see such responses from people who you would think would try to encourage, not disparage a new group of settler's. Forgive them for they know not what they do. A real response would be a few relative rules to apply when playing in game and posting on the forums.

1. Read the forums before posting. The reason; the experts have already addressed them all in derisive and demeaning manner so you will get no real response anyway. (you must be in their inner circle and have come from the first world to be accepted as having any real value or input)

2. If you do post and/or reply in a way that questions the experts and moderators you will get banned. So ask if it is worth it?

3. In game, if you are to have fun, just ignore the experts and get what fun you can from the game. If you are not having fun then this game is not for you.

4. understand that like all other games, if you have an actual life other than this game, you will never be anything other than a grinder and/or fodder for the dev's handpicked group, and/or the macro/hackers.

Unless you derive fun just out of doing what you can with what you have until you die, get WoW.

To be accepted you have to not be retarded (ex. don't say stuff like johnsmith does).

PS If we could have trade johnsmith for Josan, itd be totally worth it!
