They don't even read the bills they are voting on.

These are the idiots running the USA.

That's pretty much true of every large representational body. The "lawmaker" relies on underlings to read and understand the bills being passed. That is A) if they even bother caring what the bill actually is and B) not just voting on it for political favor. There's a reason why a famous Greek philosopher said that politicians are those that can't do anything more useful in their life (paraphrased).
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

That's why (Even if there wasn't that much corruption) politicians will tend vote to further their political career rather than actually do what is right.

This is a dog eat dog world, a fair amount of people only look out for themselves and not others, only to eventually get ahead of said others.
Please, don't hurt me!

I just don't want Obama to win again just to see the look on everyone's face who actually thought just because he is black he would end up making some historical difference for America or the world.

Rooting for Ron Paul obviously, aside from Gary Johnson (who's now running as a Libertarian) he's the only one who isn't bought-and-paid for by big corporations. He's also the only one who has a sensible stance on war (the most important issue), having served himself (unlike the other candidates, who are chickenhawks). I have enjoyed being able to say "told you so" to people who believed Obama would bring any change to Washington.

Ah, smears <3.
I would say the candidates who are crazy are those who are willing to send kids to wars and those that are willing to sacrifice thousands of innocents in a never-ending war on drugs that does no-one any good.

And those who think that it is a god-given right for states to become theocratic mini-countries.
