so you hate every single last decoration like statues 'n stuff in real life? or even a little bit nicer car beyond the basic 4 doors and an engine.

Yeah me too... instead they should at least trade it they waste it.

Some people do trade it, yet still have way more than enough to pave a bit and have even more stashed away. 2 gold nuggets really isn't that bad.

Oh, I am ALL for making things pretty but to use a resource that is rare like that takes balls, you know ... gold is like, well gold. that is like using your 100+Q bone clay to lay a white brick road. it is like omg really there are so many uses other than that. why use gold gold when you can use yellow brick?

My only complaint isn't that they used gold for beautification, it's that the screenshot was taken with the ugly block performance tiles.

i dont see the difference between someone laying gold in this game and having a big fancy mansion in real life that he visits one weekend every 3 years. both are resources that could have gone somewhere else, yes, but both are also resources fully owned by that person. neither owes the goldless or mansionless anything.
