I nostalgia'd hard when I remembered this game. There is a newer version out there, but I miss those crappy graphics and badass soundtracks.
Basically you're the only pilot in Mars who can defend it against invading forces using most advanced planes the humanity has ever witnessed.
This game is good, look at the sexy java graphics! they are at least 8 years old! And the soundtracks unbelievably well fit this game.

I think I played a 3D game on my Apple II that only had a few less polygons.

I know I'm horrible about not posting screenshots, but dug up Daggerfall. Bethesda has free downloads of Arena and Daggerfall through their website. You'll need DOSBox to run them, though, and make sure to read the instructions on setting them up. Daggerfall--I forgot how many damn bugs there are in the geometry and how often you have to save. Probably wasted 12 hours from crashes.


Do I really need to say what this is? (MOO is free, but MOO II is a few bucks at sites like gog.com.)
