Went back there today to look for more interesting things, only interesting thing was these three runestones.

Found them right outside that settlement, along with runestones in polish and wulfgars hs ^^

Would be really cool to make a huge village like this.

Not exactly what you're thinking. It's a feature on some custom clients. You can choose to hide some objects from view so that you could see behind them, through them, etcetera. You can choose to have those blue squares (or in Enders; red) display to show where the hidden items are, or you can choose to not see them.

Ah that makes more sense. I'm curious now what the two celled hidden objects actually are. They seem like gate objects.

And wouldn't a little settlement like this be super dangerous?

You guys act like the idea is original. I know people who have already made underground areas DF-style since at least world 3.

Also, you would have to be retarded to live in something like this because some griefer will just trash all of your shit.
