Just like you're an interchangeable rage quitting noob.

Strong man with big words. You'd be right except I'm still here, so I guess that just makes you dumb, eh?

Eh, it seems like noone actually wants to engage in debate, just hurl insults and meaningless challenges at each other.

Out of interest, how much do you guys use bots bmjclark?

Realism is a poor argument.

Anyway all this is besides the point. I would ask that you do not corrupt the other newbies, if you want the challenge of writing good bots, work on it yourself and with your friends, hell even share it with them, but let other new players feel the sense of creating something precious, instead of just cranking out newb-killing combat alts.

I wouldn't say it is realism, but rather a game mechanic that I'd like to see changed. I should have stated that I feel the palisade needs to protect those inside to a greater degree. Forcing players to expand their walls beyond firing range is a silly fix.

You ask me not to corrupt other newbies and I understand. However, I asked redell to repay me in blood money (read: curios) which he refused. The community has spoken, and I am afraid you are the minority voice here.

@ gunner

I don't use bots, haven't since enders got radar. A few people use bots to do their farming but thats really about the extent of it.

@jesters comment.

Your words in that chat very much make it seem like you weren't going to be playing anymore and just be making bots while you "afk this piece of shit game". (making bots isn't the same as playing the game)

I don't understand why you feel he should repay you. In e.g. viking Iceland, blood money was paid because if it was not, then someone would be outlawed. If you had a stronger group around you, same sort of thing would theoretically be possible in H&H. Why not try to make that sort of organized society a reality instead? I would love to have proper bloodfeuds :)

I do know I am kindof a minority. Hell, I don't even like having alts at all. I want death to hurt, a lot.

Also who gives a shit about the "community". You should work out what you think is right, and then do it. Your will is not democratically decided, as I'm sure Jorb would agree. I'm just putting forward my view, and I hope you can read what I write and see that what I am saying makes sense.

@bmj - ok, good to know.

The thing is, this game is anarchy land. It's pretty terrible to be creating bad blood with your future clients, but thats the dev's decision. I find most of this drama pretty hilarious, and I found a way to still have fun with a game that would normally piss me off. I made the thread asking if botting would be terrible for the community, but only a minority of us feel it would be.
