I mean that if all the historical, social, cultural components that coul dbe found in Europe or the US would have taken place in another part of the world instead, be that Ghana, Ecuador, Thailand or Tasmania then cultural hegemony woul dhave formed there. There is no difference between any human and any other human in the moment they leave that womb. Every difference is formed after and is formed by such factors as parent, friends, education, society, culture etc.
@Jorb, I am not sure what you are on about. We have been having a very lively and fair debate here. It seems to me that on the contrary you just try to mark me and people that seem to entertain similar opinions to mine as witch hunters to get out of this dilemma. When you can just claim: "Hey those who act like they are open minded hunt those that oppose them so they are hypocrites" you don't need to actually partake in the discussion anymore. That is all you seem to be doing here.
So...you accuse those that allow everyone their own opinion of exactly not doing that while in fact you are the one that undermines any actual discussion by blind accusations.

Just to take one quote out of your post. That is very much a witchhunt right there. The very same thing you accuse others of. You say our very existence is a threat to society. Judging us all in one fell swoop and never allowing any actual debate to spark.
You could have had any argument or debate in the world with me. I am more than open to listen. Dagrim and I proved that it is possible I think. We have basically diametrically opposed opinions and yet we managed to stay very much on topic without resorting to insults or anything the like. Sure there are emotions involved, on both sides, how could they not be when there is someone arguing for something you have not the slighet bit of understanding for? Nontheless I never attacked his right to have that opinion, I just do not agree with it.
If disagreement is already an attack to humanity for you then I think you might want to retract your statements of you being open minded.
But, Flame, I know the insides and outsides of every argument you could ever present? I have grown up with them and been completely immersed in a culture that promotes nothing but the ideas that you advance, yet I have rejected them.
That is a very arrogant thing to say especially when I look at your post about the Frankfurt School which shows me you have never actually read any of the books written by its most famous representatives. Since most of your accusations there actually have nothing to do with reality whatsoever.
