this is just sad. your posts have degraded from "this is gonna be awesome" to "its gonna be awesome in a bit, just wait" and finally to "fuck off, i never said it would be THAT awesome" despite trying to hype up (and CHARGE) for THAT awesome  the move you have made against the HnH community is as counter intuitive as Jorb banning everyone from B12 when they checked this game out (which obviously he never would, because hes not a moron (or an asshole))
good luck with your MMO

i find it amusing that apparently haven community would have been a blip financially...i know of no other business which would even disregard 1 person buying their services let alone a whole comunity of people.

im jsut grateful my lack of trust in peoples promises didnt allow me to be taken into this game, because i did seriously consider buying it to test. i just dont trust people to deliver what they say.

i wonder how loftar and jorb managed fine to create haven as awesome as it is without needing to ask for any financial aid from anyone playing their game.

i think they did so good with what they had because of they way they approached the game as a whole. they made it and said "hey, if yall want to play this shit go ahead" they did not give a fuck about people, because frankly why should they? they could always operate under the "its free, stop complaining you little bitch" model when people would whine and they wouldnt have to do anything about it. they didnt whore out their game to get a few bucks they just sent it out as it is and focused on what they wanted. no promises, no carebearing, nothing. and thats the way it should be

Oh, well you guys win, I concede. =)

As long as everyone is playing the game that they want to play, then everyone is happy. Nobody is forcing you to buy/play any of them. If you like H&H/Salem, then that's awesome. Keep playing them for years to come.

A mmo does not cost millions to get off the ground, people managed that without charging people a cent even.
What does cost millions to get off the ground, is a collective developing studio or company for said MMO, or even any future games to develop.

In any case, you must consider the popularity factor:
- Unless you have a team that is willing to commit their free time to invest in the future of the company, then that team isn't worth the trouble to make half a million dollars to invest in.

This means that without half a million dollars, and on the concept that your team will have to jump into the fire from time to time, it's up to you guys, as persons, to handle this, not the money.

What happen to the good ol' days back then when internet is new and almost EVERYONE made free games to distribute online?
They found the 'time' to do such a thing, and they were family people who had to take care of families also.

Consider this factor, gamers from a young age puts so much time into gaming, that it equals or is greater THAN THE TIME THEY SPENT ON LIFE!

Pretty much they did the impossible and managed time far more efficiently than anyone had ever hoped for.
They went through school, graduated, got jobs, and still got the time to play games just as often as they do, going to school, graduating, and getting a job.

10,000 hours on life, and yet they managed to rack up 10,000 hours on gaming.

I was waiting for something like this... the stench of BS has been sitting thick on this guy for a long ass time.
