As long as everyone is playing the game that they want to play, then everyone is happy. Nobody is forcing you to buy/play any of them. If you like H&H/Salem, then that's awesome. Keep playing them for years to come.

But the drama is so delicious. You don't enjoy it?

Smacking about ingame politics is one thing. But for this guy its his bread and butter. You guys might want to take a step back and think about it before rolling him over.

And before you throw me under the buss as well... no I didn't buy the game but I have the decency to respect the mans income.

The 'community development' features in Topia Online are not new. I originally posted about it within the first week of the forum going up (you can find it in the old posts in the general section). Topia Online has always been about community scripting and development.

I doubt that Topia Online will ever be a triple-A MMORPG with millions of players. It has a lot of bizarre rules and features that turn many players off. However, my primary goal with Topia is to create a reusable engine so that the community can create their own games the way they like.

With the Topia Engine, you guys can create your own MMORPGs with your own rules. You can do this for free by using Topia Points to pay for server costs. This system is in place so that people with no money can still host expensive MMORPG servers. Players that participate in your world can spend their Topia Points to help you pay for costs associated with keeping the server online. Every player in Topia Online accrues 100 Topia Points per hour, and they can use this on whatever they want. This lets the community decide which servers 'matter'. Therefore, if you create a game and people are playing it, you probably don't need to pay a dime.

If you have no coding experience, you can use the Topia Points to purchase scripts off the marketplace to include in your custom world. So if someone codes a great combat system, they can add it to the marketplace for 1000 Topia Points and then other players can purchase it and add it to their game world.

This is all of course dependent that whomever you are trying to reach doesn't run afoul of you, or the many assholes that have infested your forums. It's fine for them to attack people left and right but God Forbid! You make the mistake of defending yourself. You had no reason to ban me from the beta, so you made up 5 or so and you also had no reason to ban me from the non-beta forum, so you made up another.

I spent 3 months putting all of my time into getting your game exposure and doing everything in my power to bring people to it and my reward was to be banned because...well? You're a control freak who finally has a bit of power, (No doubt this is a new thing for you) so you lash out at someone who wanted nothing but the best for you and your game. Why you insist on returning here over and over is beyond me you had, or "would have" had the majority of Haveners if you had merely released a % of the product you claimed you would all the way back in November. (Christmas Eve Beta...RIIIGHHHTTTTT) Ironically back in December I pointed out to you that you had a Community interested in helping and that maybe you should let people give you a hand but you laughed me off....and yet here you are doing it. Derp. Just like I asked for slightingly larger chunks of stuff to test, you banned me then turned around and did exactly that! In short, unless you plan on apologizing to me, re-adding me and the rest who have gotten refunds back into the Beta and stop being a fucktard, (I'm just kidding, I had another account the day after you banned me.) lmfao, then don;t bother posting here unless you are submissive and just like catching hell.....
