Hmm, first they have to first bot lumber, then need to set a deposit of both nuggets and blocks, set the hearthfire of the bot near the deposit and finally bot path outward further from its hearthfire each interval of support. Aside that, the bot needs to mine all safe areas to be efficient. Seems complicated.

it could be done with bots but there are many other ways to bot lp. trolls not too stronk.

Sorry Apxeolog I know I don't really know you but every time you post about your bots or your client or scripting or botting in general it just makes me hate you.

Honestly you seem like a decent dude most of the time and you probably are but I just can't help it. I feel like I want to kick you in the nuts and watch you cry.

Sorry man, i'm not dominating in m0vament kamambezrtz so scripts are the only way to show myself. I know bragging is bad but where else can i indulge my weaknesses if not in game.

I was gonna post something rather long-winded, but screw it. everything's been said here time and time and Time again.

if there is ever such a thing as private servers, I only hope that I'll be given an invitation.

Goodluck in finding a way to stop this once and for all. for it seems that there is no more "cancer" as they say. Every fiber of this game has now been touched and infected with the concept or bot/exploit/cheat every day

Make account cost $20 and only one character per account
-less poverty russians
-less chance people will bot
-less alt abuse
-food for jnl

It fixes 4 problems at once

Hi Kid, thanks for good idea about capitalization for bots

Haters gonna hate. Don't forget you are was used some part of it too.

Everyone knows about bots  nobody can't do smth with it.
Logical Circle.

p.s. Do not blame bot makers, it's a problem in logic of game (inner development problem). Every script, every weakness, every hack account or server, every hearth secret brutal force.    Mostly that is show to us up the logical problem in game core, and bots(hacks) just indicator of problems

As i says.

ya and I already explained earlier in this thread how the use of such clients as Ken's and groovy scripts was minor in comparison and should not really be comparable at all.

You can deny the fact it ruins the game, unless you feel consequences for yourself!

I don't think the people who bot care about these kind of things. They bot because they don't consider doing all the donkey work fun. They just want to win, and in this case winning means punching you or someone to death.

Go play a fully developed NERF Game like Runescape. PK Anywhere is end-game content.

Botting has very little to do with any true criticism of the game. The developers refuse to police botting as principle of design philosophy. Even Loftar has said he would consider some kind of 'task scheduling" mechanism if it weren't for his complete apathy regarding the UI. As it stands, bots enable dedicated players who have done the rote enough times to describe it in a computer language. Some of them were kind enough to publish their work. This allow public alpha testers to explore more frequently mechnisms of end-game content and thus produce end-game data for the developer to analyze.

The only people who complain about bots are really the kind of players that aren't contributing the sort of data the developers are looking for.

tl;dr - No one cares about bots. No one important, anyway.

sorry to keep beating a reanimated horse, but here's another point:

Modern clients make combat way too easy.

People have been saying this since when enders added enemy ip to his client, though - in fact this change was pretty huge.

but i think that with auto-drinking-bots and double-tap to do move/attack, the skill cap is lowered even more. Even useful general additions to the client like hide buttons make combat less dependent on experience.

----

i've already written elsewhere what i think about other bots - I don't like foraging bots because they take away some random social interactions, and I feel uneasy about other bots because its no longer so much about cooperation to get larger tasks done in game quickly, but I do understand why people use them. Even I used a farming bot because my hand was hurting from harvesting my small fields every few days. Yeah, I'm getting old…

Just because people don't have to cooperate to meet an enphemeral bar of productivity doesn't mean they *can't* still cooperate for mutual benefit and greater gain than independent endeavor.

The fact that you complain about a lack of forced community suggest your the sort no one wants to play with. And because even with bots you really *can't* do it all yourself (even if you 'could') you think the game ends there.

Combat being "easier" (Translation: Slightly less shitty and more informative, responsive and reliable interface) lowers the bar of participation. A lower bar of participation means more potential participants. More potential participants mean more effective and larger groups.

The only real table turner that could show up and threaten to up heave everything about the way we think of combat would be a competent scripted fighter. In Javascript.
